Minor nephew killed ,BJP ľeader among 7 family members injured in mysterious explosion in his house

Rajouri :–At about 9.30 pm either an explosive device was triggered or a grenade was thrown inside the house of BJP Madal President, Jasbir Singh resident of ward No.5 (Khandli) of Rajouri town.
As per reliable sources minor nephew of Jasbir was brought dead to Associated Hospital & Government Medical College (AG& GMC) while the doctors performed surgery on Jasbir who was also injured along with 7 members of the family including his about 7 months old baby & two other minors.
“Save my child, militants have lobbed a grenade on us. Ask Deputy Commissioner to arrange a Chopper for him (nephew),” Jasbir was crying while on the stretcher in GMC.
Four explosions, including in the housing complex of brothers of serving SSP & today’s in the house of young BJP leader ( three in this area) and four Improvised Devices planted on Jammu-Poonch highway in about a year, but Rajouri police have failed to arrest the Anti-National Elements operating in the district to date.
Eight family members/relatives of Jasbir Singh s/o Ramish Singh were injured in the explosion. A massive protest was held at AH&GMC by the family members, relatives and the people as no doctor was available in the causality when the victims were brought.
The injured have been identified as Jasbir Singh (35), Arjun Singh (12), Sia Devi (60), Ramesh Chander (65), Balbir Singh (42), and his two sons, namely Karan Singh (12) & Veer Singh (3) and 6/7 months old baby Mannu of Jasbir Singh.
As per unconfirmed reports, the protesters have mishandled senior police and army officers inside the GMC.
“Eight persons, including a child, have been brought to AH&GMC. The child is on a ventilator while the doctors performing surgery on one of the injured” said Dr Brij Mohan, Principal, AH&GMC.
The security situation in Rajouri district is deteriorating day by day.
Meanwhile, after this tragic incident, Sanatan Dharam Sabha Rajouri has appealed to close the markets on Friday.
Keeping in view the tense situation arising after brutal murder of a youth on Tuesday night and today’s explosion, the district administration may impose restrictions in Rajouri town.
Immediately after the information of the explosion, DIG police Rajouri-Poonch police Range, SSP, and Commanding Officer of Town Regiment along with a QRT team of 71 Field Regiment rushed to the spot.
“The entire area has been cordoned off by the Security Forces and searches are in progress” said sources.
Pertinently 3-4 days back a suspicious movement of a group of 2-3 unidentified persons were spotted during late-night hours in this area and VDC had fired some warning shots.
A First explosion took place inside the housing complex of the brothers of a serving senior police officer on September 6last year in Maira village and second was triggered in the same area on January 29 outside the boundary wall of Kali Mata temple.
The third explosion was triggered on June 6 outside the house of Sushma Kumari , sarpanch of Androla-Chakli village ( where a youth was murdered on Tuesday).
Few ÁNEs trained in making the IEDs/ low intensity explosive devices operating in the district but still are beyond the reach of the police.
