Two-Day Scientific Conference Showcases Elite Medical Expertise, High-Impact Sessions, and Renewed Commitment to Clinical Excellence*

RAJOURI NOV 16:-Department of Medicine, Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri, successfully concluded its prestigious two-day scientific conference MEDIVISION 2025, held on 14–15 November under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Jamil Ul Hussain, Head, Department of Medicine. The event marked a significant academic milestone, drawing eminent faculty members, senior clinicians, postgraduate scholars, and former professors of Rajouri.

The conference was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Harleen Kour, whose address on clinical discipline, teamwork, and academic advancement laid a strong academic foundation. B. Singh – Senior Physician, Jammu, Dr. Iqbal Bhat – Faculty, ASCOMS Jammu, Prof. Abdul Ghani – Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon, GMC Jammu and Dr. Maqbool Sohil – Director, Interventional Cardiology

Faculty from multiple departments of GMC Rajouri also contributed through specialty-oriented presentations, clinical case discussions, and updates on emerging medical practices.

The event concluded with a valedictory address by Dr. A. S. Bhatia, Principal, GMC Rajouri, who praised the Department of Medicine for executing a well-structured, intellectually strong academic programme.

In his Vote of Thanks, Prof. (Dr.) Jamil Ul Hussain emphasised the importance of regular interdisciplinary CMEs, stating that such platforms sharpen clinical judgement, ensure knowledge updation, and strengthen academic excellence—ultimately contributing to improved patient care across the region.
