RAJOURI NOV 17:-A special medical camp was organized today in the border village of Kalsiyan, aimed at addressing the healthcare challenges faced by the local population. The initiative provided free medical consultations, essential medicines, and referrals for specialized treatments, with the goal of alleviating the financial burden on residents of border area villages along the Line of Control (LC).
A team of Army doctors and nursing assistants conducted health checkups, benefiting approximately 71 individuals, including 37 males, 16 females, and 18 children from the villages under the Area of Responsibility (AOR) of Kalsiyan Battalion.
Given the region’s limited access to basic healthcare services, the camp was widely appreciated by the local community. The medical team, which also provided critical health advice and necessary medicines, was hailed for its support. The Panchayat Head and local elders expressed their deep gratitude to the Army for this initiative, emphasizing that the villagers are eager for similar efforts in the future to address ongoing healthcare needs in the area.
