Rajouri November 28:–Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) Nowshera has been attached in the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner ADC) at Rajouri while two employees of the education department, including a teacher were suspended for violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
Reliable sources said that Madan Lal, TSO Nowshera was allegedly providing favors to some beneficiaries reportedy to vote in favour of a particular candidate (s) during the forthcoming election for District Development Council (DDC) constituency.
“A complaint along with an audio clip was received against the TSO and Assistant Director (AD) FCS&CA was directed to enquire the complaint” said Mohammed Nazir Sheikh, Deputy Commissioner (DC) also District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) .
On the report of AD, FCS&CA that TSO has violated MCC , DC vide his office order issued on Saturday, has attached the TSO in the office of Sher Singh, ADC at Rajouri till election process is over.
TSO, Kalakot shall look after the affairs of TSO, Nowshera till Madan Lal resume his duties after the DDC elections were over.
Meanwhile, on the directions from DPEO, Chief Education Officer (CEO) has suspended a middle school teacher and a chowkidar of higher secondary school for violation of MCC.
According to an order issued on Friday, Mushtaq Ahmed , teacher of middle school at Dandote and Mohd Rayaz , chowkidar of HSS at Budhal were found involved in campaigning in favour of a particular candidate contesting for Budhal New constituency for which polling was held today.
Both have been asked to explain their position within 3 days.
“If failed, disciplinary proceedings under the Representation of People Act/Election Rules & CSR (conduct) Rules as warranted shall be initiated against both” DC order reads.
