RAJOURI AUGUST 31:–In a significant development, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri on the direction of Returning Officer (RO) 86-Budhal Constituency have initiated disciplinary action against three employees for their involvement in political activities in the constituency.
The employees attached for violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) include Zonal Planning Officer (ZEPO) Officer Koteranka, Ishtiaq Ahmed; Chowkidar high school Budhal, Mohd Riaz (both attached in the office of CEO at Rajouri), and RRET teacher, Mohd Shafiq posted in primary school at Hill Kandi (Koteranka) and attached in middle school at Chatti Nabani in Rajouri education zone.
In the first instance RO 86-Budhal Constituency (vide No.RO/86/Bud/2024-25/331-34 dt 30/8/2024) found ZEPO Koteranka involved in campaigning for a particular political party.
On the direction of RO-Budhal Constituency, CEO Rajouri vide his office order (No. CEOR/MC/2024-25/16246-50 dt 31/8/2014)) attached ZEPO in his office with immediate effect.
Similarly, on the direction of RO Budhal Constituency, CEO Rajouri vide his office order (No.CEOR/MC/2024-25/16241-45 dt 31/8/2024) attached RRET teacher Mohd Shafiq -posted in primary school Hill Kandi (oteranka) in middle school at Chatti Nabni (Rajouri)with immediate effect for violating MCC by attending public meeting of a particular political party.
CEO vide his office order (No. CEOR/MC/2024-25/16250-54 dt 31/8/2024)) also attached the chowkidar of high school Budhal namely Mohd Riaz in his office for violating MCC.His complaint was also verified by RO 86-Budhal Constituency.
During the period of MCC/attachment, all the three officials are not allowed to avail any kind of leave, read Chief Education Officer (CEO) orders.
