RAJOURI JUNE 24:–Tightening it’s noose against people involved in unlawful act of manufacturing and sale of desi liquor, police in Rajouri arrested a local man recovering consignment of liquor.
Police said that a team of Chingus Chatyar police post led by Incharge PP was on routine patrolling in Androlla, Kardenoo villages of Rajouri when they intercepted a local man namely Joginder Nath son of Lal Chandler resident of Kardenoo who was selling illicit desi liquor among the people from his house.
The police team conducted searches in his house when the accused Joginder Nath tried to hide the illicit liquor but the police party acted promptly and recovered the consignment of five litres of illicit liquor.
During further searches, eighty to ninety litres of Lahaan was also found at the spot that was destroyed.
The accuses has been arrested and cognizance of the matter has been taken.
