Low intensity explosion in Poonch near district hospital: DC, SSP assessed situation

RAJOURI MARCH 26:–A mysterious blast that took place in a Gurdwara Bhai Mahant Sahib situated near Raja Sukhdev District Hospital in Poonch city  late evening hours has created tension in the area.

After getting information about the mysterious explosion SSP Yougal Manhas, and Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M Choudhary visited the spot to assess the situation.

As per reports the sound of the explosion was heard far & wide however, there are no reports of any causality or injury to anyone.
After the mysterious blast, forensic science experts visited the spot & found collecting samples from the spot.

It was not immediately known whether it was a grenade blast or a low intensity explosion and who is behind this blast.
Police, security agencies, and security forces have started further investigation.

SSP Poonch, Yougal Manhas said that the police have received information of a suspected small intensity explosion like sound heard from an area near Poonch Hospital.Necessary investigation into the matter has been set into motion to ascertain the exact nature of the material which apparently looks like a handmade crude substance.
