Literary circle an online platform (Facebook) organised by a team of research scholars and faculty members of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad from Pir Panjal Region of J&K. in their daily basis activities today on 27 Jan, Prof K.C Agnihotri, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Himachal Pradesh was invited as the expert. In the lecture on Understanding Forest Right act (FRA) 2006, he throughs light on the of forest Right act and the mechanism associated with its implementation in J&K, he also highlighted the role of Gujjars Bakerwals and other forest dwellers in protecting forests in J&k.

Speaking on the occasion prof. emphasises to strengthen the Gram Sabhas at local level to play their role in the better implementation of the FRA 2006, and to spread awareness regarding the benefits of the act and he also said that they need to work as torch barrier in protecting the rights of forest dweller in J&k.

In Marinating the continuity of lecture series on the above-mentioned act. The Next lecture of Literary circle will be held on 28th Jan, 2021,8:00 pm onwards. In which Mr. Zafar Chaudhary senior Journalist, policy analyst, Prolific writer, founder and editor of the dispatch will deliver his lecture on understanding FRA 2006.
