LG adminstration deserves appreciation for sanctioning various posts for newly formed Medical College at Handwara ;Ghulam Mohidin Sheikh.

HANDWARA May 04 :–A social and political activist from Handwara, Mr Ghulam Mohidin Sheikh (Zab) has hailed the efforts of LG adminstration for the people of Handwara in particular and that of the J & K in general.

Mr Sheikh said, ” acceptance of proposal from Medical and Health Education Department by the Administrative Council under the able leadership of our Luteinant Governor to sanction posts for the functioning of Medical College at Handwara is the biggest Eid gift ever for the people of this far flung area”. “Handwara is a big area and steps like this are going to bring a lot of relief for the people of this place”, he added.

“The decision to operate the medical College by sanctioning 806 posts which will enable Health and Medical Education Department to start the course curriculum from the academic session 2022- 23. Besides it will create thousands of job opportunities at local level which has the tendency to boost the economy of this area”, Mr Sheikh said.

Mr Sheikh in his message to the LG adminstration has termed it a big achievement of the Govt. “This has given a strong message to the people of UT of J & K that Govt is leaving no stone unturned to ease the burden of people and this practice of keeping the interests of people on priority will be carried throughout by the LG adminstration in its letter and spirit”, he added.
