It is pertinent to mention here that Chhatral is the pivot of 14 panchayats with ample road connectivity.Moreover Higher secondary school Chhatral, Primary health centre Chhatral, Power station, Post office and Niabat Chhatral also lies in its vicinity.I would like to mention here that this District Development Council (Mendhar C) comprises of about 50 thousand population with 88 government schools,14895 students,18745 old age pensioners,8230 retired pensioners, total accounts of different banks 42294.
