Shri “Krishna Darbar” decorated at Gyan Ganga Mathh Sunderbani to mark the celebrations

RAJOURI AUGUST 26:–Krishna janamashtmi (birthday of Lord Krishna) was celebrated with full enthusiasm, religious fervour and gaiety in different parts of district Rajouri.All the temples of the town were decorated with different types of lightning and flowers on this special moment.The people start comming in these temples in the evening to celebrate this special day to pay their obesence to lord Krishna. Celebrations witnessed scores of devotees in many temples across the town
After the completion of week long bagwat katha held at SDS mandir Rajouri, a jhanki was taken out from Sanatan Dharam Sabha Mandir in which various aspects on the life history of Lord Krishna and others were depicted posing different styles during this whole religious procession.Large no.of devotees from surrounding areas also participated in the jhanki.The jhanki started from the mandir and passed through the main market which include areas like Raghunath Bazar, City chowk, Bus stand, Moti Bazar and finally culminated at mandir itself.Whole atmosphere become spritual with the voices of devotees who were chanting bhajans and kirtan in favour of Lord Krishna.Various stalls have also been kept by the locals and different organizations which include fruits, water, snacks etc on the way during the whole Jhanki.
Similarly, the Jhankis were also taken out in Jawahar nagar, Dhanidhar, Muradpur Dassal and some other areas of Rajouri townt mark Janammahotsav of Lord Krishna.Adequate security arrangements have been made by district administration for the smooth conduct of overall function.In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, Mr. Randeep Kumar , SSP, Rajouri gave their warm wishes to all and stressed upon to concerned officials to provide all requisite facilities to the devotees like drinking water, sanitation, medicare, transport, uninterrupted power and water supply and other necessary arrangements during the whole festival.Throughout the day, the people of all ages-children, young and old remained busy in flying kites from their rooftops.
In the same way, Gopalasthmi was also commemorated with reverence and joy in Gyan Ganga Mathh, Sunderbani under the supervision of Atal Pithadishwar Rajguru Acharya Mahamandleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Shri Swami Vishwatamanand Saraswati ji Maharaj.A very beautiful Shri “Krishna Darbar” was decorated at Mathh to mark the celebrations with full enthusiasm and religious fervour. Swamji along with few other saints and devotees performed Puja of Lord Krishna and Radhaji.A beautiful Rath Yatra was also taken out from ashram itself.Swamiji, while taking the accompaniment from his discourses on the occasion, said that Shri Krishna is considered the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu and the God of Hinduism. He is also known by the names Kanhaiya, Shyam, Gopal, Keshav, Dwarkesh or Dwarkadhish, Vasudev, etc.
