WADURA OCTOBER 06:–Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kupwara today organized Swachta Campaign”, part of a month long program being celebrated through out the country at Faculty of Agriculture, SKUAST-K, Wadura campus. A good number of farmers and farm women participated in the programme. Scientists from KVK Kupwara Dr. Shahid Hakeem, Dr. Faisal Nabi, Dr. Firdous Raina and Scientists from Faculty of Agriculture, SKUAST-K, Wadura including Dr. Munazah, Dr. Ishtiyaq Ahad and Dr. Mudasir Ganaie delivered lectures on various aspects of Swachta Campaign highlighting the importance of cleanliness in our surroundings, both inside and outside our houses like Orchard sanitation, Decomposition and Recycling of kitchen wastes and Orchard wastes. Dr. Mohd Ayoub Mantoo, Prof & Head, Division of Entomology, FOA Wadura presided the chair as a chief guest of the ocassion.
