JKUM Leader Faheem Reshi today urged the administration to work towards making the Mahraj Gunj Hospital functional.

SRINAGAR JULY 23:–Faheem said that he has been striving hard to bring the attention of administration towards the hospital which was constructed at Mahrajgunj Srinagar some 15 years before but never made functional.

He requested the people at the helm of affairs to make this hospital functional, so that it can improve the healthcare facilities in the downtown area of Srinagar.

According to Reshi, it can cater to a huge populace of the city and reduce the burden on other tertiary care hospitals of the Srinagar.

This matter needs prompt action, and he said that he is hopeful that admin would consider this issue to be important and do the needful, while keeping the greater benefits of people of the old city in view.

Reshi also demanded the establishment of a functional fire emergency station in Shah-re-Khaas, responding to the demands of the local residents.

With the rising fire incidents in the old city, he said establishment of a fire service station as such will be very beneficial for the people.
