CEO Rajouri Highlights NEP-2020 Implementation, Drug-Free Institutions; JKTJAC Leadership Calls for Teacher Unity and Academic Reforms

RAJOURI NOV 24:-The Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) Nowshera/Rajouri organised a one-day educational convention at Khokher Palace, Nowshera, drawing an impressive gathering of teachers, zonal representatives, and office bearers from across District Rajouri. The event focused on strengthening the education system, empowering teachers, and addressing long-pending issues of the teaching fraternity.

The Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri, who presided as the Chief Guest, delivered a comprehensive address outlining three major priorities: Effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Creation of drug-free school campuses, Recognising teachers as nation builders and key social reformers, He underscored the importance of value-based education, moral responsibility, and the critical role of educators in shaping a progressive society.

UT President JKTJAC, Vinod Sharma  reiterated the organisation’s commitment to resolving long-pending teacher issues and improving academic standards. He stressed on: Timely redressal of chronic grievances, trengthening unity among teachers across Jammu & Kashmir, Enhancing learning outcomes through improved academic practices, Speeches by Senior Leadership

The convention featured addresses by prominent leaders, including: Najam Jafri, UT General Secretary, Rajesh Jamwal, Provincial President, Naresh Sharma, Senior Leader, anab Yousaf Shah , District President Poonch,  Manzoor Khan, District President Rajouri and Zonal Presidents and senior representatives from multiple zones

Speakers emphasised academic excellence, teacher welfare, and collective responsibility in building a vibrant and enlightened educational ecosystem.

The committee extended thanks to all dignitaries and senior members, including: CEO Rajouri, Vinod Sharma, Najam Jafri, Rajesh Jamwal, Sukesh Khajuria, Khajan Singh, District Presidents Yousaf Shah and Manzoor Khan, along with Shabbir Choudhary, Ashwani Sharma, Arun Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Sheetal Singh, Zabeer Choudhary, and all zonal office bearers and executive members from UT, provincial, district, and zonal levels.

Special recognition was accorded to: Sunil Bakshi, Naresh Choudhary, Inderjeet Singh, Neetu Sharma, Pawan Verma, Vishal Choudhary, Satnam Singh, Monika Mangota, Urmila Devi, Trishla Choudhary, Sushma Kumari, Sachin Chandan, Manoj Choudhary, Ajay Sharma, Raj Kumar, and teachers from Nowshera and other zones for their active participation.

Teachers unable to attend due to family engagements were also acknowledged for sending their best wishes.

In the concluding session, Mangat Choudhary delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the CEO Rajouri, UT President, dignitaries, and all participating members. He specially appreciated Naresh Choudhary, Sachin Chandan, and  Suresh Choudhary, recognising them as key contributors to the successful organisation of the convention.
