JKRETTF appealed LG Administration to provide special incentives to teachers deputed on Covid duty Thanked LG for appreciation to the teachers who volunteered himself

Srinagar,May 22: Jammu and Kashmir rehabar -e-taleem teachers forum ( JKRETTF) has demanded to provide special incentives to the teachers deputed on Covid -19 duties in Jammu and Kashmir UT.
According to a press statement issued here by the spokesperson of the forum said that forum Chairman Farooq Ahmed Tantray has appealed LG administration to provide special incentives to the teachers deployed on Covid-19 duty like health workers of the UT. Tantray said that teachers have been assigned the various tasks related to covid -19 and they are performing their duties as front line workers with health workers since day one. He said that they are performing their duties at vaccination centers with medical staff, at airports,covid testing centers, Survillance team heads, and on other related covid 19 duties. Forum chairman appealed LG adminstration that special incentives may also be provide to teachers like health workers of medical department as an act of encouragment.
Futher, Tantray said that teachers deputed on covid duty are performing their duties diligently while many teachers are volunteering themselves, adding that the recently LG Manoj Sinha appreciated a teacher in his speech who volunteered himself . He thanked LG for the appreciation to a teacher Manzoor Ahmed from Kulgam who volunteered himself and said that the appreciation of LG has further encouraged and boost the moral of the teachers involved in this work. They appealed LG to provide all facilities to teachers assigned to this job like medical staff to keep them motivated and encouraged.
