Reasi, Aug 25: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leaders and workers today organised its first public meeting in Gool area of Reasi district to discuss public issues.
The meeting was organised to express faith in the leadership of JKAP President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari and Former Minister Aijaz Ahmed Khan in which the issues of public concern were discussed.
In a statement to the press, the meeting was organised by the JKAP leaders and workers in Gool area people from adjoining areas projected their demands for their early redressal.
During the meeting, the people complained that the building of Degree College, Gool, KGVP school building and establishment of Stadium are incomplete and the Sub District Hospital is suffering because of shortage of staff.
The locals were concerned over the lack of basic amenities like proper road connectivity, poor supply of clean drinking water, mobile connectivity and shabby condition of tourist spots like Dagantop and Ramakunda.
They alleged that the government should macadamize the roads for better connectivity, provide clean drinking water. The JKAP leaders have appealed that the pump for water supply in the area has been sanctioned but it is yet to be installed. The JKAP leaders said that the online studies have suffered badly in the district because of poor internet connectivity and on the other, many people do not have mobile phones with internet access.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion include Chairman Thuroo Makhna Ch, Chairman Sangaldan Naveeda Parveen, Altaf Hussain Tragwal, Ghulam Nabi Wani, Fyaz Ahmed Khakmath, Gulzar Shan, Rahem shan khadim wani and others.
