RAJOURI, JULY 11:–A lady doctor posted at Community Health Center (CHC) at Kotranka has been relieved from duty and asked to report to the CMO Office (till pending inquiry) after she had pasted a caption on the door of her OPD room reading “ DOGS + FAKE MEDIA NOT ALLOWED HERE’.
Immediately after the video of the message went viral on social media platforms, Block Medical Officer (BMO), Dr. Iqbal Malik reached on the spot and brought the matter to the notice of senior officers, including the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
“A news is making round on the media portals from last couple of days with the caption “Dogs & Fake Media not allowed pasted on the door of your OPD. Which is highly unethical, unprofessional, & irresponsible act on your part? Consequently, pending inquiry you (Dr. Rukkhsana) are directed to report to this office immediately for further duties” reads CMO’s order.
Reliable sources said that in compliance to CMO’s order, Dr. Iqbal Malik, BMO Kandi Health Block has relieved Dr. Rukhsana Jabeen, who in a video released later has claimed that she was not aware about the caption and might have pasted by those who were acting against her.
It has been alleged that the doctor in question, instead of attending to all the patients at CHC, she asks many of them to come to her clinic situated in the vicinity of the CHC for Ultra Sound tests on the pretext that UltraSound Machine of CHC is not functioning satisfactorily.
The issue was raised by the reporters and the doctor namely Jabeen became furious and displayed the poster on the door of the OPD room.
Local reporters have condemned this act of the doctor and raised a question mark over to whom the doctor is referring DOGS.
“An inquiry was established in this matter which the concerned BMO will conduct and has been asked to submit a report within 2 days. As the video of the poster (on OPD door) has gone viral on social media platforms, and appropriate action will be taken under relevant rules against the doctor after the report” said Dr. Hamid Zargar, CMO, Rajouri.
