HANDWARA JUNE 16 :–On the instructions of District Youth Services and Sports officer Kupwara Jitender Singh the District Youth Services and Sports Zone Handwara today conducted Inter School Zonel level Tournament in the discipline of Volleyball U-19 year’s Boys at Government Boys High School Badherher at Sports ground Badherher
Earlier, Farooq Ah Yatoo Zonel Activity Incharge Zone Handwara inaugurated the tournament and addressed the participants and officials and deliberated upon the benefits of the Sports.
Skills like teamwork, leadership, patience, discipline, learning from failure, Sportsmanship, etc., are developed only when children play sports regularly, and these skills are equally important when it comes to studies and management, he further said
He also informed that many such events are being organised throughout the district.
