Indian Army Organizes Painting Competition at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Badnota

RAJOURI AUGUST 26:–The Indian Army, under the initiative of Operation Sadbhavna, organized a painting competition at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Badnota, with the theme “Swachh Bharat.” The event aimed to promote cleanliness and creativity among young students, fostering awareness of hygiene and environmental care through art.

The competition featured two groups: the Junior Group, with 20 participants from classes 1 to 3, and the Senior Group, with 20 students from classes 4 and 5. The students displayed remarkable talent and enthusiasm in their paintings, capturing the essence of the theme with creativity and originality.

In the Senior Group, Balbir Singh secured the first position, followed by Anjali in second place, and Sandeep Singh in third. The Junior Group saw Kavita Devi winning the first prize, with Manisha Devi and Anshu Sharma taking second and third places, respectively. The winners were felicitated for their commendable performances.

The event was made possible through the active support of the school authorities, particularly Mr. Ashok Kumar, Mr. Naresh Chandra, and Mr. Varun Singh, who were instrumental in organizing the competition. The initiative by the Indian Army was warmly appreciated by the locals and the school staff, who expressed their enthusiasm for more such engagements in the future.

Indian Army has been proactively engaging with the community members in Lohai Malhar Tehsil. This is further strengthening the Army and Awaam relations in the distant villages of Kathua district.
