JAMMU MAY 21:– In a significant outreach effort, the Indian Army organised a free medical camp in Rumali, a remote village along the border belt of Subdivision Khour. The initiative aimed to address the healthcare needs of the local population, especially those with limited access to medical facilities.
A team of Army doctors and paramedical staff offered free health check-ups, consultations, and medicines. The camp saw enthusiastic participation, particularly from women, children, and senior citizens — underscoring the critical demand for medical services in border regions.
This initiative is part of the Indian Army’s ongoing efforts to support civilian communities in far-flung areas, extending its role beyond security to social welfare.
Residents lauded the Army’s gesture, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the care and attention provided. Many described the camp as a much-needed relief and a testament to the Army’s enduring commitment to the well-being of the border populace.
