Poonch October 02;–Mahatma Gandhi’s 151st birthday anniversary who is popularly known as Father of the Nation. On this day fit India campaign marks 1 yr 2 months and 6 years of swacch bharat campaign launched by Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. Mr Prime minister initiated campaign of fit India by nominating various NGO as well Government organisations such as NCC and NSS . 1 J&K Arty. Bty. NCC Poonch under directions of Brigadier Satish kumar Group Commander J&KL Directorate , Principal GDC Poonch Prof. MH Shah, Col. Amitabh Verma Commanding officer 1 J&K Arty Bty NCC Poonch with Guidance and Supervision of ANO GDC Poonch Prof. Asad Imran and Director Physical education GDC Poonch Mr. Mukesh Kumar Isher were running fit India campaign on daily basis by uploading work out from home videos and photos on various social media platforms as well as steps counts of cadets including ANO GDC Poonch. Cdt Ankit sharma was maintaining a chart for steps counts of cadets on daily basis throughout this year even at the time of Panademic . Today NCC GDC Poonch successfully launched awareness drive for cleanliness ie. Plog Run campaign from GDC Poonch to entire Poonch market and back . During the drive Cadets raised the slogans to Stop use of Plastic, Go Green Go clean and Fight to be Fit etc in a loud voice. Being disciplined institution the SOP’s covid-19 were strictly followed by NCC Cadates and at last pledge is being recited by all cadets in front of NCC office in GDC Poonch to keep our surroundings clean and aware others about cleanliness. Sinior Cdts Gaganbir Singh, Santam Singh, Aftab Aziz and Ammanullah Sabir lead other in a very disciplined way and promised their authories that this campaign will not end here. Prof Asad Imran and Mr. Mukesh Kumar also exclaimed in front of media that it is just a new beginning of dream to keep India Clean,Green and fit.
