RAJOURI AUGUST 14:–As a part of Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyaan and series of events for celebrating Independence Day, Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri district carried out an impressive Tiranga Yatra on Wednesday.
The Yatra started from main bus stand of town and concluded at Tariq bridge after passing through main town areas including city chowk, tehsil chowk, court road.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Rajouri Poonch range, Sh. Tejinder Singh (IPS) was leading this Tiranga Yatra with Senior Superintendent of Police, Sh. Randeep Kumar (JKPS) alongwith Additional Superintendent of Police, Musadiq Basu (JKPS), Deputy SsP and other officers were part of it.
Amid patriotic tunes played by band of district police Rajouri, the yatra passed through main town and was welcomed with flowers by civil society members.
National flags were also distributed by police personnel among the passerby especially including children.
Similar Tiranga Yatras were also taken out in many other parts of Rajouri district by police stations and police posts teams.
