Illegal Mining Crackdown: Rajouri Police Seize Three Vehicles

RAJOURI APRIL10:-In a decisive move against illegal mining, the Rajouri Police have seized three vehicles found transporting minerals without valid documentation. The action is part of the district police’s intensified drive to clamp down on unlawful mining activities in the region.

According to officials from the District Police Office Rajouri, the following vehicles were apprehended during the operation: JK11F-2220, driven by Mohit Sharma, resident of Saranoo, JK11D-4713, driven by Mohd Fareed, resident of Potha and JK11G-7435, driven by Tariq Hussain, resident of Dharhali Bridge, Rajouri

The drivers were found transporting minerals without the requisite permits. Authorities have initiated strict legal action under relevant sections of law.

The Rajouri Police have reiterated their commitment to taking firm action against those involved in illegal mining and urged the public to report any such activities to ensure the protection of the region’s natural resources.
