RAJOURI DEC 20:- In a remarkable celebration of resilience and determination, The Himalayan Talk Show and The Voice of Rajouri came together to honor Mr Tilak Raj Sudan for an extraordinary achievement that has etched his name in history. This inspiring individual, 100% spinal cord afflicted, has earned a place in World Records India for completing the Longest Solo Car Journey by a Specially-Abled Rider on the Highest Motorable Road.
Tilak Raj’s awe-inspiring expedition is a powerful narrative of unyielding perseverance and ambition. A specially-abled driver from Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir, he embarked on a daring solo journey that spanned an incredible 2,200 kilometers in just 11 days in his trusted Maruti WagonR. Beginning his adventure on June 22, 2024, his mission extended beyond physical and geographical challenges to share a transformative message: “My Transforming New Jammu & Kashmir – Leh Ladakh.”
The journey took him through the breathtaking yet formidable terrains of the Mughal Road, Kashmir, Leh-Ladakh, and Khardungla Top—situated at a staggering altitude of 17,982 feet and renowned as the second-highest drivable road in the world. Along the way, he reached iconic landmarks like Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake, ultimately completing his epic voyage back in Rajouri on July 2, 2024, via the Atal Tunnel in Manali.
In recognition of this incredible feat, Tilak Raj Sudan Ji was presented with a commemorative plaque and an insignia of appreciation during a heartfelt ceremony. His journey stands as a testament to human endurance, determination, and the power of dreams, inspiring countless individuals to challenge their limits and pursue their aspirations.
