SRINAGAR SEPTEMBER 17:-Helping Hands Jammu & Kashmir, in collaboration with Huda Foundation, successfully organized its 10th Drug Awareness Programme at Vitasta School of Law under the theme “From Darkness to Light: The Journey Beyond Addiction.”
The event focused on spreading awareness and offering practical solutions for overcoming drug addiction — a growing challenge in society. Esteemed guest speakers shared both spiritual and scientific perspectives on how individuals struggling with substance abuse can break free and rebuild their lives.
The programme was graced by distinguished personalities including Qazi Mufti Mohammad Imran Sahab (Sheikhul Hadees), Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Suhaf (Assistant Professor, IMHANS-K), Mr. Umer Wani (President – We The Helping Hands Foundation), Mr. Sajad Ahmad Sholla (Vice President – Smile Foundation), Mr. Shakir Shabir Bhat, and Mr. Muneeb Wani (Wani Talks).
In his welcome address, Mr. Aaqib Parray, Chairman of Helping Hands J&K, emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in eradicating addiction from society. Speakers highlighted holistic approaches, combining faith, counseling, and rehabilitation, to help victims of drug abuse reclaim their future.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered jointly by Mr. Aaqib Parray and Ms. Bint-e-Manzoor, Chairperson Huda Foundation, who expressed gratitude to the guest speakers, Vitasta Law College management, media fraternity, and participants for their support in the noble cause.
