RAJOURI, AUGUST 11:– To commerorate the 75 years of India’s independence and as part of the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program being celebrated under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav in the district, the District Administration Rajouri today organised a Mega cultural program/event at Sports stadium Kheora.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Among the others, ADDC, Pawan Kumar; ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; CMO, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; Principal Govt.Degree College Rajouri,Javed Iqbal Qazi,AD FCS&CA,Arif Lone and other officers.
Students from different schools and colleges participated in the event and through their performance, they filled the atmosphere of the venue with patriotic spirit and gave a clear message to the society that we all must have personal connect with our national flag.
Audiences from all walks of life and of different age groups thronged the venue and hailed the efforts of the District Administration Rajouri in organising the Mega Cultural event.
Addressing the event, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the concerned departments for organizing such a grand cultural event and said that the promotion of the heritage and cultural activities are getting focused attention.
“The Government of India launched ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to celebrate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements,” he said.
He also said that the District Administration is organising such event to amplify the awareness of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, the Govt of India initiative to inculcate a personal connect between the citizens of India and the National Flag”, the DC said.
Later, the DC along with team of officers and students also made a round of the sports stadium holding the national flag in hands. The whole atmosphere of the venue of the event filled with patriotic zeal.
