Gujjar and Bakerwal Joint Action Committee lambast Union Government for including the so called Paharis in Tribal List

JAMMU FEBRUARY 13:–All Gujjar and Bakerwal Organizations Joint Action Committee has expressed deep anguish and lambasted on the Union Government for including the so called “Paharis” in the Tribal List.

In a mammoth press conference held at Jammu a number of Joint Action Committee members spoke with regard to the inclusion of Upper Caste people in the schedule tribe list and further more said that we as community reject this inclusion of uppar caste people. It is also said that gujjar and bakerwals literacy rate is just 2% in comparison to those who are included in the list and are having 80% literacy rate. The speakers also said that we are up to the challenges and are ready to fight at any level and at any cost.

Those who spoke includes Sr. Advocate Anwar Choudhary, Mohammed Azam Advocate, Mohammed Akram Advocate, Talib Choudhary Social Activist, Sadiq Choudhary, Owais Choudhary, Guftar Choudhary and others.

All the speakers were unanimous to through a challenge to any unconstitutional decision in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India or any other competent court.  Mohammed Azam Advocate said that we are fighting for saving the constitution of India and inclusion of upper cost people is not acceptable at any cost.
