GOC XVI Corps and GOC Romeo Force review security situation in Rajouri-Poonch.

RAJOURI MAY 14:-Amid prevailing tension along the Line of Control (LoC), Lieutenant General P K Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, along with the GOC of Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) Major General V Mahadevan, visited Rajouri and Poonch districts on Wednesday to assess the prevailing security situation in the region.
GOC White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P.K. Mishra, and GOC Romeo Force visited the Narian (in Rajouri), Jhadan Wali Gali (JWG), and Totagali sectors (in Poonch) and reviewed the current security situation.

GOC White Knight Corps’s emphasis on ‘razor-sharp readiness’ reflects heightened security concerns under the prevailing security situation in the region.
He appreciated the courage and professional conduct of the soldiers and called for continued high morale and full preparedness to combat terrorism and ensure peace in the region.

The officers interacted with the troops and lauded their 24/7 vigilance and high morale. They urged the soldiers to continue working with enthusiasm and dedication to maintain a stable security environment.
During the visit, the GOCs were briefed on ongoing anti-terrorist operations and the strategies in place to prevent infiltration. They were also updated on the army’s operational readiness.
