~ Around 70 MBBS Students to Participate in National-Level Fest Promoting Collaboration, Learning, and Cultural Exchange Among India’s Future Doctors

RAJOURI OCT 07:-In a proud moment for Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri, nearly 70 MBBS students from various batches are set to represent the institution at the prestigious “Pyrexia” Festival being hosted by AIIMS Rishikesh.

The national-level fest is a vibrant confluence of academic excellence, sportsmanship, and cultural exchange, drawing participation from leading medical colleges across the country. It aims to foster interaction among future healthcare professionals, encouraging teamwork, innovation, and appreciation of India’s cultural diversity.

The event will feature a dynamic mix of academic competitions, sports contests, and cultural performances, offering students a platform to go beyond conventional classroom learning. Participants will engage with peers from diverse backgrounds, gaining exposure to new perspectives, traditions, and experiences that nurture both professional and personal growth.

Expressing their gratitude, the students thanked Principal Dr. A.S. Bhatiya for his consistent motivation and for enabling them to represent GMC Rajouri at a national forum. They also extended special appreciation to Dr. Jameel Ul-Hussain, Chairman, Sports Committee & Head, Department of Medicine, for his guidance, and Dr. Chander Shekhar, Professor & Head, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, for his continuous mentorship.
