SRINAGAR SEPT 08:--In a significant show of strength and support, Ghulam Mohammad Dar organized a workers’ meeting at his residence in Naidkhai, Sonawari, on Sunday afternoon. The meeting saw hundreds of workers from the Nowgam block gathering with great enthusiasm, marking an important moment for Dar as he mobilized his supporters ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.

Speaking to the media, Ghulam Mohammad Dar confidently stated, “I have at least 17,000 memberships. I am strong in the Sonawari constituency, and my workers are prepared for any challenge.” His remarks underscored his influence and the organizational strength he commands within the Sonawari constituency.

Dar urged his workers to gear up for the approaching elections, emphasizing the importance of unity and readiness. “Elections are near, and we must be prepared for the challenges ahead,” he stressed.

In a bold pledge, Dar also addressed a key local issue, promising, “If I am elected, I will ensure the removal of boycott electricity meters. I will personally make sure these meters are thrown into dustbins.” This resonated with many locals, who have expressed frustration with the existing electricity metering system.
