General Secretary, JKGBYWC, hails the decision of replacing the Wardens.

Jammu: J&K, Gujjar Bakarwal Youth Welfare Conference, General Secretary, Mohd Akram Advocate, today moved a press release to media
in which he said that ,The Decision of UT Administration to replace
wardens and assistant wardens of Gujjar Bakarwal hostels has been
widely appreciated by different Gujjar Bakarwal organisations and
community sympathisers.the Gujjar’ Rights spirited youths have termed
the decision in very right directions to overhaul the conditions of hostels
.The general secretary of Gujjar Bakarwal Youth welfare conference Mohd
Akram Advocate has said that a long pending demand of the community
has been considered by the government .he has further welcome the
circular dated 5/6/2020 of Director school education Jammu by virtue of
which applications from lecturer and masters of education department
have been invited for wardens and assistant wardens respectively . Mohd
Akram has demanded that selection of wardens and assistant wardens
strictly be made on merit and from the Districts in which the Hostels exists.
He has further said that districts in which hostels are available no students
from that district should be allowed to take admission in other districts
Hostels . he has pinned great hopes with the new dispensation in the UT
and has said that monopoly of some people by the recent decision is over
.he further implored upon the administration to appoint best of the talent
from education department as per the guidelines.he exclaimed that for the
past few years the studies of students in the Hostels , due to the casual
approach of administration has win the worst casualty .he appreciated the concern of advisor to His excellency LG , farooq khan who has been taking
pain to streamline the Gujjar Bakarwal Hostels .he has hoped that new
incompaints in the hostels shall not leave any stone unturn to make the
students to compete with other students .he has further appealed to the
wardens to produce best of the talents from their hostels for the progress of community .Mr Akram has appreciated the cooperation extended by Right
thinking members of the community to bring change in the Hostels . he has
said that people involved in this effort have no personnel or otherwise
grudge against any officer or wardens etc .but all this exercise was a pious
effort to streamline the hostels in best interest of the students ….
