GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING, CIF (DELTA) APPLAUDED CIVILIANS FOR THEIR BRAVERY AND COURAGE AT TUKSAN, REASI

UDHAMPUR SEPTEMBER 07:–Freedom and Bravery – there is a reason that we sing in our National Anthem. We are free because we are brave.

Setting up a perfect example of bravery, on 03 July 22, civilians from village Tuksan in Reasi district with the help of Indian Army and JKP apprehended two absconding Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist namely Talib Hussain and Faisal Bashir along with substantial war like stores, which resulted in foiling the nefarious designs of the anti-national elements. General Officer Commanding CIF (Delta) visited the location, interacted and applauded the civilians for displaying bravery and courage. He also conversed with the children from the far-flung village and distributed 40 School kits (including school bags and stationery). One computer was also presented to High School Tuksan to provide encouragement and quality education to the children. The gesture would encourage Awam and drive home a message of “we all stand united” in combating acts of terror and for peace and prosperity.
