GDC Kishtwar in collobration with Kishtwar Eco Watch, J&K Forest Departnment and PRIs organised seminar and plantation drive on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti

Kishtwar :==GDC Kishtwar in collobration with Kishtwar Eco Watch and J&K Forest Departnment organised seminar and plantation drive in premises of GDC Kishtwar where Principal GDC Mr. Aniradh Sharma was chief Guest.
The function was started with the wellcome guest of Prof. Sonika Sen Sociology HOD, who was also Convenor of the function. Prof. M M Mattoo and Prof. Randeep Kumar threws brief light on contribution of M K Gandhi toward welfare of the society. Online Painting Competetion cum Quiz Competetion was also held for which Dr. Sehrish Gazal, Prof. Romana and Prof. Sarita Parihar were nominated as judges. Rifat Noor, Janvi Parihar, Anmol Sudershan Student of GDC Kishtwar were declared as winner of Online Painting Competation.
On the occasion Cultural program was performed by Suhaib Kandoo, Rahat Nabi, Sajeela, Aqila Nazir among which Kishtwar Eco Watch Volunteers also held one day plantation cum sappling drive in premises of GDC Kishtwar.
Principal GDC Kishtwar was Chief guest of whole occasion and Certificates, Trophies, Medals were distributed among Kishtwar Eco Watch Volunteers including Dr. Touseef Hussain Trak, Mohammad Khalid Safiullah, Mudassir hussain Butt, Dr. Yassee Hussain, Syed Musaid Ali, Touqeer Kripak, Sahil rafiq, Mohammad Rafi Choudary, and Freelancer Shafqat Sheikh. Beside Jehangeer Sheikh was also given special award for his tireless efforts and overall performance in college campus .
The sappling drive was conducted by J&K Forest Departnment Kishtwar in collobration of Kishtwar Eco Watch, where Divisional forest Officer Mr. Sagar Singh was Chief Guest and other sectoral officers were also present. The sappling drive was held in premises of GDC Kishtwatr with a slogan of “Green J&K Drive”.
Various digniteries were present during seminar and sappling drive including Prof. Tariq Tamkeen Dev, Prof. M M Mattoo, Prof. S. K Sen, Prof. sonika sen, Dr. Zahoor Wani, Prof. Romana Kamal, Prof Sehrish , Dr. Touseef Hussain Trak, Dr. Barkat Ali, DFO Kishtwar Sagar Singh along with employess of Forest Departnment, Prof. Rohit and other volunteers of Kishtwar Eco Watch.
