Four Drug Peddlers Nabbed With 18 Grams of Heroin-Like Narcotic Substance by Rajouri Police

RAJOURI MAY 14:– On May 13, In a major crackdown on drug trafficking Thanamandi Police apprehended four drug peddlers at DKG Naka and seized approx 18 grams of heroin-like narcotic substance* from their possession.

The accused were intercepted while traveling in a Hyundai i20 vehicle (Registration No. JK12B-7073). On their Personal search the contraband was recovered and all four individuals were taken into custody on the spot.

The accused persons have been identified as Sikander Khan S/o Yousaf Khan,Amir Khan S/o Ghulam Haider,Zubair Khan S/o Wazir Khan
and Anjum Rafiq S/o Mohd Rafiq. All are residents of Bufliaz Surankote Poonch.

In this regard a case FIR No. 69/2025 under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Thanamandi and further investigation is in progress.

This operation reflects the firm commitment of Rajouri Police to curb the menace of drug trafficking and safeguard the youth from the harmful effects of narcotics.
