Forest Minister Presides Over Passing-Out Parade of 152 Forest Guards in Bandipora

BANDIPORA OCT,25:-Forest Minister Javed Rana today presided over the passing-out parade of 152 newly trained forest guards from the 71st and 73rd batches at the Forest Training School, Bandipora.

In his address, the Minister praised the commitment and resilience of frontline forest staff who play a crucial role in protecting Jammu & Kashmir’s natural resources. He urged the new recruits to remain vigilant against forest fires, encroachments, and illegal activities that threaten the Union Territory’s green wealth.

Reiterating the OmarAbdullah Government’s focus on sustainable and people-centric governance, the Minister highlighted the importance of empowering tribal and forest-dependent communities through equitable development, livelihood security, and active participation in conservation efforts.

He encouraged the fresh pass-outs to serve with dedication, uphold environmental laws, and contribute to safeguarding J&K’s rich biodiversity for future generations.
