SRINAGAR MAY 01:-A floral tribute was paid today at Hotel Intercontinental, Kashmir, to commemorate the 17th death anniversary of the renowned Gandhian and Padma Bhushan awardee, Didi Nirmala Deshpande. The event was organized by Gandhi Global Family (Kashmir Chapter) to honor her enduring legacy of peace, non-violence, and social service.
The solemn tribute was attended by several distinguished guests, including Ms Mehjabeen Nabi, Haji Noor Mohammad, and Malik-Noor-ul-Amin, Sanaullah Tamari,Ms.Mejaneena Bhat, Mr.Javed Mir, Dr.Ayoub Mir,G.R.Dar (Rtd SSP) Eng.Mohd Ismail Dar, Reyaz Malik Among others. The gathering reflected on Didi Nirmala Deshpande’s contributions to Gandhian thought and her tireless work in promoting harmony and unity across communities.
