Five killed, one injured seriously in 3 road mishaps in Rajouri.

:–Five persons were killed and one was critically injured in three road mishaps in Rajouri district on Monday reportedly due to poor visibility.
As per initial reports, a tipper bearing registration No.JK11A-6087 skidded off the road near Bhela village in a remote area of Khawas tehsil (in Kotranka sub-district) and fell in the deep gorge.
Residents of the area on social media platform (WhatsApp) reported that three persons died on the spot while one was critically injured.
The deceased have been identified by the villagers as Satveer (driver) r/o Kanchi, Vikram Singh r/o Dalhori; and Shokat Ali r/o Jaglanoo. The injured was identified as Rattan Lal r/o Dalhori and is under treatment in PHC at Khawas.
As the accident spot falls in a remote area, the police party has been rushed to the spot.
In another alleged case of rash driving, a 19-year-old pillion rider was killed while the driver received critical injuries when their bike collided, reportedly head-on, with Border Security Force (BSF) under the jurisdiction of Rajouri police station on Monday.
The mishap took place near Muradpur village, just 3 kilometers from Rajouri town, on the Jammu-Poonch highway.
The deceased has been identified as Zaheer Abaas(19. Bike driver Mohammad Arshad was admitted in the Government Medical College & Associated Hospital (GMC&AH) for treatment and both are residents of village Chalas.
An Eyewitness said that the bike JK11F-1957 was on the wrong side when it collided with a BSF vehicle bearing registration No. JK0P-6512.
The police have registered a case under sections 279,337 & 304A IPC and started further investigation.
In the third highway mishap under Rajouri police station jurisdiction, one Amit Sharma (31) s/o Madan Lal resident of Doongi died on the spot when his motorcycle collided with a near Bathooni village.
Truck No.PB03y-9231 was on its way to Jammu from Rajouri side and it hit a motorcycle No.JK11D-9945 driven by the deceased.
The police have arrested the driver and also seized the truck. Sources said the deceased was married only two months ago and was reportedly working as a casual labourer in the office of ARTO, Rajouri.
