Farooq Inqlabi condemns lynching of Srilankan citizen in Sialkot Pakistan. Demanded severest punishment for guilty

RAJOURI/BUDHAL DECEMBER 03:– District Vice President PDP Mohammad Farooq Inqlabi, in a statement said that mob-lynching incident in Sialkot Pakistan had pained him. He said that all the guilty deserved the severest punishment in accordance with law.

Farooq Inqlabi said that the incident has “pained” him. “It has saddened others too. Guilty should get severest punishment. A Sri Lankan national was tortured to death in Sialkot and his body was set on fire after a hundreds-strong mob attacked the foreign national over blasphemy allegations. He further demanded immediate ban on so called Islamist Party of Pakistan.

Farooq Inqlabi said that Intolerance has become the culture of the day. It is causing death, genocide, violence, religious persecution as well as confrontations at different levels. Sometimes it is racial and ethnic, sometimes it is religious and ideological, and sometimes it is political and social. Whatever may be the reason, intolerance is painful in each situation.

He said that Qur’an speaks about the basic dignity of all human beings regardless of their race, colour, language or ethnicity. The Shari’ah recognizes the right to life, property, family honour and conscience of all people. From the very beginning, freedom of religion has been guaranteed by Islam.
