RAJOURI AUGUST 30:-Senior People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mohammad Farooq Inqlabi has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic death of a couple along with their five sons in a devastating landslide at Baddar village in Mahore subdivision of Reasi district.
In his condolence message, Inqlabi termed the incident as “heart-wrenching” and extended his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and the people of the area.
“This is an unbearable loss. An entire family has been wiped out in a matter of moments. I offer my heartfelt condolences and stand in solidarity with the people of Baddar village in this moment of deep pain,” he said.
He demanded that the district administration immediately launch rescue and relief operations and provide adequate compensation to the next of kin of the deceased.
“I urge the Lieutenant Governor-led administration to act without delay in extending all necessary assistance to the affected families, including financial relief, rehabilitation, and proper medical care for others who may have been injured or displaced,” Inqlabi added.
The senior PDP leader also stressed the importance of improved disaster preparedness in landslide-prone areas to safeguard lives and property in the future.
