SRINAGAR JUNE 06:-Faheem Reshi, Chairman of Greater Shahre Khaas Leadership, has extended warm Eid ul Adha greetings to the community and urged citizens to maintain cleanliness by avoiding the disposal of qurbani skins on roads and in water bodies.
In his message to the public, Chairman Reshi emphasized the importance of respecting the environment during the festival. “Eid ul Adha is a time for reflection, generosity, and community spirit. It is equally important to ensure that our celebrations do not harm our surroundings. I appeal to everyone to dispose of qurbani skins responsibly to keep our streets and water clean,” he stated.
Reshi highlighted the negative impact of improper disposal, which includes blocking drains, creating health hazards, and polluting water sources. He encouraged local residents to use designated collection points and cooperate with municipal authorities to facilitate efficient waste management. “Our collective efforts can make Greater Shahre Khaas a cleaner and healthier place for all,” Reshi added.
Greater Shahre Khaas Leadership remains committed to promoting sustainable practices and environmental awareness throughout the festival season. The leadership team is coordinating with sanitation workers to ensure timely collection and proper handling of qurbani waste.
