RAJOURI/BUDHAL APRIL 22:- Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramzan, is being celebrated across India after crescent Moon was sighted on Friday evening.The biggest congregation took place at Eidgah Masjid in Rajouri district including Kotranka Thanamandi Budhal Darhal Kalakote Sundirbani Nowshera Manjakote where hundreds of devotees performed Namaz-e-Eid ul Fitr and prayed for peace, development, and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir as well as the country.
In Rajouri district of Budhal Kotranka brotherhood is a great example. People from other religions support Muslims, share sweets and greet each other. We wish and pray that we live together this way peacefully and happily,” Muftis told reporters after prayers here.Eid Namaz was also offered at other mosques and eidgha in Rajouri district of Kotranka Budhal.
The administration had made elaborate security and other necessary arrangements for the festival. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I convey my good wishes to all the people of the world and I pray that Eid bring happiness with it every year. We should stay together with love and happiness, this is what Islam teaches us. We should not think bad about anyone and always do good. Deputy Commissioners of districts also extended their greetings on the occasion and said that the festival is an occasion for devotion and charity. Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated in Rajouri districts, and adjoining sub-division and tesil to mark the end of holy month of Ramzan.
While extended their greetings to the people of Rajouri Dr Haseeb Mughal DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range and SSP Rajouri Amritpal Singh said that the festival was observed with great enthusiasm, and they congratulated all present on successful culmination of the holy month and thanked everyone for participation in the celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr, irrespective of their religion, which was an indicator of strong bond of brotherhood and love between the people of different communities in the region.
They further emphasised the significance of brotherhood and hoped that the festival will instill a sense of unity among all faiths.
