DySP Bhuttu Choudhary Jatt and SHO Mendhar Mohd Rashid Honoured with DGP’s Commendation Medals

MENDHAR JAN, 03:-In recognition of exemplary service, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to duty,  DySP Bhuttu Choudhary Jatt and SHO Mendhar Mohd Rashid have been honoured with the prestigious DGP’s Commendation Medal and Certificate for the year 2025.

SHO Mendhar Mohd Rashid received the honour for his outstanding contribution to maintaining law and order, effective policing, and ensuring public safety in the Mendhar area. Known for his discipline and people-friendly approach, his work has earned widespread appreciation from senior officers as well as the local population. His service reflects the core values of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and continues to inspire fellow officers and youth of the region.

DySP Bhuttu Choudhary Jatt, a resident of Village Kasblari, Tehsil Mankote, District Poonch, was awarded the medal in recognition of his integrity, strong leadership, and consistent commitment to public service. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated operational efficiency, honesty, and courage while discharging his responsibilities. Hailing from a border area, his achievement has brought pride to Tehsil Mankote, Village Kasblari, and the entire district of Poonch.
