SRINAGAR NOV 10:-A major terror link has rocked Jammu and Kashmir’s medical fraternity after two doctors were arrested on serious terror-related charges.
Dr Adeel Ahmad, a senior resident at GMC Anantnag, was arrested first when police recovered an AK-47 rifle hidden inside his locker. His interrogation led police to Haryana, where they raided a hospital in Faridabad and arrested Dr Muzamil Shakeel from Pulwama.
Police sources confirmed the recovery of weapons and explosive-making material, suggesting the existence of a well-planned terror network operating through professional fronts. Authorities say more arrests could follow as investigations widen beyond J&K.
