Poonch June 21 :– In a drive against the Illegal mining, DMO Poonch seized another JCB and that too within weeks time. Illegal mining has been a menace in Poonch. JCB/Poclain extract the material from the rivers and leaves behind the deap trenches causing dozens of death during last couple of years. It is also causing huge damage to the ecology, aquatic life, irrigation, agriculture, environment etc.
2014 flash flood, may repeate but with more disastrous consequences, if it is not stopped at this point of time.
Don’t wait for it. It’s time to act now or never.
