District-Level Orientation Programme on Aadi Karmayogi Response Governance Held in Rajouri

RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 02:-A district-level orientation programme on the Aadi Karmayogi Response Governance initiative, aimed at empowering individuals and institutions for tribal transformation, was today organised at Dak Bungalow, Rajouri. Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The event also marked the formal launch of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan in Rajouri district, laying the foundation for a bottom-up governance model to ensure last-mile service delivery in tribal areas.

ACD Rajouri, Auqil Naveed, delivered a detailed presentation highlighting the objectives and implementation strategy of the initiative, which focuses on capacity-building through skill development workshops, training programmes, and the Dharti Aabha Plan for sustainable tribal development.

In his address, DC Abhishek Sharma underscored the importance of grassroots participation, urging the active involvement of Aadi Karmayogis, Aadi Sahyoogis, and Aadi Saathis for effective implementation of schemes. He emphasized the vision of building self-reliant, resilient, and inclusive communities in all 104 tribal villages of Rajouri.

Highlighting a unique approach, the DC encouraged district officers to voluntarily spend a night in tribal villages to conduct gap analyses and better understand local needs.

The programme also outlined a tiered training structure: District Master Trainers will train district officers and Block Level Master Trainers, who will then train Village Level Master Trainers—ensuring capacity-building and convergence across multiple departments.

The initiative is expected to significantly strengthen governance outcomes in tribal areas by ensuring that developmental schemes reach every household, fostering holistic tribal empowerment.

The orientation programme witnessed the participation of senior officers, including ADC Rajouri Chander Prakash, ADC Kalakote Tanvir Ahmed, ADC Kotranka Dilmir, ADC Nowshera Pritam Lal Thapa, SDM Thanamandi Abid Hussain, SE PWD Tilak Raj Sharma, Ex En PDD Abdul Rasheed, Ex En PWD Rajouri Aftab Anwar, Ex En PWD Nowshera Sarwar Mehmood, besides other district and sectoral officers.
