District Hospital Poonch staff celebrates Children Day at Pediatric Ward.

RAJOURI NOV 14:-The management of Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital (RSSDH) Poonch celebrated ‘children day’ with great joy with children atf Pediatric Ward and the event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Poonch, Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan.
The celebration included a special gathering where children admitted to the ward were greeted with smiles and kindness by the staff of the hospital.
The celebrations were also joined by Medical Superintendent RSSDH, Dr Nusrat Bhatti; Consultant Pediatrician, Dr Jalpreet Kaur, who organized the event to bring a joyful experience to the young patients and their families.
CMO Poonch, Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan distributed gifts to the children bringing joy happiness on their faces.
The children were thrilled to receive the presents, which brought a spark of excitement amidst their hospital stay.
Refreshments were also provided to the children and their families, creating a warm, festive atmosphere within the ward.
CMO, Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan while interacting with children and their parents emphasized the importance of a nurturing and supportive environment for children in hospitals, especially on Children’s Day.
“We are committed to making our pediatric ward a place where children can feel comfortable and cared for, even in times of illness,” he said.
Dr Nusrat Bhatti and Dr. Jalpreet Kaur echoed sentiments by expressing their dedication to continually improving pediatric care in the region.
The event concluded with heartfelt wishes from the medical team for the speedy recovery of all young patients, along with a pledge to further develop child-friendly healthcare facilities in Poonch.
