Rajouri,March,04: To facilitate the stay of officers and their families at district headquarters,District Development Commissioner,Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad today laid foundation stone of multi-storey residential complex for district officers at DC office complex.
The multi storey residential complex will have 3 main recreational hall/dinning hall,6 bed rooms,3 living rooms. The project is handed over to PWD department and will be completed at an estimated cost of 200.00 lacs.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri,Sher Singh,EXN PWD and other senior officers of district administration were present on the occasion.
The DDC informed that district administration has taken the task of construction of extra residential accommodation for district officers since there is not adequate accommodation so far at the district headquarters.
He said due to shortage of residential accommodation at district headquarters and expensive availability of private hired accommodation the district officers have to travel from other places.
DDC directed the PWD engineers to start the work on war footing and complete within time frame while ensuring the quality of work.
