District Administration offers condolences to the Martyr, Mohd Raziq son of Mohd Akbar of Shahdara Sharief.

RAJOURI, APRIL 24:- District Administration Rajouri, today offered sincere condolences to the martyr Mohd Raziq son of Mohd Akbar, who was working as a Junior Assistant in the Office of Program Officer ICDS Rajouri, who laid down his life in a barbaric terrorist attack at village Kunda Topa of Shadra on the intervening night of 22th and 23th April 2024.

The silence prayers were offered in the lawns of office of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri. All the officers and officials of District Administration and Police Rajouri, offered prayers and deepest sympathies for peace of the noble soul.

The silence prayer for peace of the martyr were attended by all Civil and Police officials in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat; DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, Tajinder Singh; SSP, Amrit Pal Singh.

The District Administration has expressed the solidarity with the grief stricken family/kins of the martyr and has assured of all possible support to the grieved family. Meanwhile, Rajouri Police have lodged an FIR and have started the immediate investigations .

It is to be mentioned that Mohd Raziq was martyred on the intervening night of 22/23 April by terrorists in Shahdara area.

The other officers who remained present in condolence prayers were; Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajeev Kumar Khajuria; Additional SP, Abdul Majid Basu and ACR, Mohd Jhangir Khan ; all Officers of DIG Office Rajouri,DC Office Rajouri and SSP Office Rajouri.
