SRINAGAR FEB 27:-Human Rights Defender Tasleema Akhter, Chairperson of the Association of Terror Victims in Kashmir (ATVK), along with her mentor, Dr. Amin, met with Professor Dr. K.P. Singh, Director of Gandhi Bhawan, Delhi University, in his office chambers. Dr. K.P. Singh warmly welcomed Tasleema Akhter, acknowledging her dedicated work in advocating for human rights and supporting terror victims in Kashmir.

During the discussion, Professor Dr. K.P. Singh expressed his admiration for Tasleema Akhter’s impactful representation of Bharat(India) at the United Nations (UNHRC) in Geneva. He particularly appreciated her efforts in raising awareness among the youth about the development and progress of Naya Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370.

The discussion focused on the crucial role of education in empowering the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Emphasizing the importance of educational initiatives, the conversation explored avenues to inspire and uplift the younger generation, ensuring they contribute positively to society and nation-building.

This meeting marks a significant step towards collaborative efforts in promoting education and human rights in the region.
