DIET Doda Conducted five days Inclusive Education Traning Programme.

DODA AUGUST 28 :– District Institute of Education and Trainings,Doda organised Five-day Training Program regarding Strategies For Creative Inclusive Schools And Classroom Environment & Individualized Education Plan of HOIs/Teachers/Special Educator School Counsellors* w.e.f 21-08-2023 to 25-08-2023.The Training was inaugurated by Sandhra Malhotra, Principal DIET,DODA.

The purpose of the Workshop was to sensitize the teachers of District Doda about inclusive education.Inclusive education is about ensuring access to quality education for all students by effectively meeting their diverse needs in a way that is responsive,accepting,respectful and supportive.It further aims to make the classrooms and schools in inclusive setup mode as well as to prepare individualized education plan for each CWSN in the schools across the District.In the inclusive setup mode,all the children of different categories are to be taught under the same roof in the same classroom.

In this training program about 57 teachers from all zones of District Doda and the DIET faculty members participated. Virender Singh,HOD,DIET Doda, Kismat Singh,Lecturer/Training Co-ordinator,DIET Doda,Manisha Goswami, Special Educator and Manjeet Singh,Teacher/RP acted as the Resource Persons.

The Principal DIET,Doda while her deliberation made emphasis upon the teachers to create conducive atmosphere in their schools so that specially abled children be prepared for seeking education at par with the normal ones.All the participating teachers have assured that they’ll make every effort to implement the same at grass root level with zeal and zest in the schools.Worthy Principal DIET,Doda congratulated all the teachers and Resource Persons for successful completion of the training program.
